WHAT IS THE RADIUS PROJECT?

The RADIUS PROJECT will provide instructional spaces that will enable the School of Art and Design to deliver expanded opportunities and innovative learning experiences. For 50 years, our unique brand of applied art and design education has provided excellent opportunities and experiences for thousands of graduates – we are positioning ourselves to create dynamic and visionary creative educations to better educate emerging industry leaders. Be part of the next 50 years!

DYNAMIC LEARNING SPACES

The RADIUS PROJECT envisions learning spaces that are designed to nurture collaborative and cross-disciplinary projects, providing students applied experiences that aid them in developing skills and abilities to bridge traditional boundaries between disciplines.

ENHANCED ACADEMICS

Philanthropic resources will support additional industry projects and subsidize service learning projects, promote undergraduate and graduate research, sustain constantly evolving technology needs, optimize multidisciplinary and co-teaching opportunities, support faculty professional development, and cultivate student entrepreneurs.

STUDENT CENTERED

Students and faculty participate in collaborative projects with private, public and community partners as part of creative research, class projects, or through directed studies and contracts. Our students and faculty bring new ideas to our campus community and an unparalleled drive to push the boundaries of excellence in all of our art and design programs.
